In November 23rd, the Oceanário de Lisboa opens to the public a new exhibition, "The House of Vasco".
Recommended for children, the new exhibition will not leave anyone indifferent, even adults.
In this new space, the host is Vasco, the Oceanario's mascot, a true superhero, defender of the oceans that protects nature and the planet. The invitation is to come in, explore and discover the advice of a superhero who lives in a special house and become an ally in the mission to change behaviors.
In the kitchen, while the fish bakes in the oven, it's easy to find Vasco's adivices about the consumption choices, saving water, dietary habits and the separation of garbage. After lunch is ready, you enter the dining room where three different dishes reveal messages about fish consumption. The cuisine is portuguese!
The bathroom and library reserve many surprises. Two of them are "The Adventures of Vasco", with the episodes" Every drop counts "and" Ocean of Plastic", 3D animations produced by FOX Factory for the Lisbon Oceanarium, which will inspire the young.
In the energy room the hosts are renewable energies, solar and wind power, simulating the use of these in all the appliances that everyone uses every day.
In the Central Control of the Oceans, Vasco can monitor by radar and cameras, all that is happening in the world and at sea. An underwater camera is installed on the airship Aquarium Central, allowing the fish to follow in real time.
At the exhibition the action is imperative, to explore, touch, see, listen, stalk, on, off, give wings to the imagination and to slide.
