Driving instructions
Be aware that driving in Portugal is not the easiest of things, especially in the middle of the city. The Oceanário, however, is located in a renewed part of Lisbon, which is conveniently proliphic in signage.

If arriving from the North: Take the A1 or CRIL South and follow the signs to "Ponte Vasco da Gama", "Eixo Norte/Sul" or "2ª circular". Exit to "Expo 98". Follow Av. Marechal Gomes da Costa down to the waterfront and park.

If arriving from the West (e.g. Cascais, Sintra): Follow Av. Infante D. Henrique until it turns 90 degrees left (i.e. North). DO NOT turn left, take exit to the right and park in Parque das Nações. (See Parking instructions below)

Boat lines
Take the fast boat from Seixal (South margin of the River Tejo) to Parque das Nações.

Parking
Parking is available in any of the following paid parking lots:
"Parque da Doca" - 700 spots.
"FIL" - 830 spots.
"Torre Vasco da Gama" - 250 spots.
