Experience the dolphins returning to the Tagus river and enjoy an amazing boat trip through the river, meeting the wildlife of Lisbon. Lisbon is the only European capital where you can observe dolphins in their natural habitat. These charismatic aquatic mammals, such as the common dolphin, visit the Tagus to feed between the start of spring and the end of summer.

At the Santo Amaro docks, you can set off on a magnificent trip where you can encounter even more species which contribute to the biodiversity of the Tagus River mouth area, such as the northern gannet, terns, great cormorants, and sometimes even sharks.
