"Happiness and emotional balance", with Eiji Han Shimizu

Eiji Han Shimizu, a Japanese media producer and creator, is the next Human Habitat Lecture guest speaker. Together with researchers, he develops and delivers empirically validated mindfulness-based programs. He is passionate about enhancing the well-being and emotional balance of participants in conferences and seminars internationally.

Eiji is best known for the highly acclaimed biography-like Manga series, published in 10 languages and in over 25 countries, about important figures like Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa or Mahatma Gandhi. Recently, he finished producing a feature-length documentary film on happiness entitled ‘Happy’, which has become the nº1 documentary on iTunes in United States of America, in Canada and in Australia. His documentary film has not only won several awards from film festivals, but also has been highly regarded and frequently used as an educational material at some of the leading psychology institutes.
