Azure demoiselle

Biology

The azure demoiselle has a very peculiar colour pattern. Small in size, it is half blue and half yellow. It can be found in small groups, in lagoons and near coastal zones, usually among branching corals of the genus Acropora.

Curiosities

Like other species of its family, males are responsible for guarding and aerating the eggs.
