Yellow-brown wrasse
Biology
The yellow-brown wrasse forms groups in clear waters of lagoons and reefs, over sandy and rocky bottoms as well as coral-rich areas. In addition to shelter, this fish also finds its favourite food there: crabs, shrimps, bivalves and sea urchins.
Curiosities
When it is young, it has a yellow body but when it turns into an adult, the male acquires a blue-green appearance with a pink and green head, and the female keeps the yellow body.
