Plumose anemone

Biology

The plumose anemone is usually found attached to rocks, where it forms large clone colonies through asexual reproduction. However, whenever it wants to disperse to other territories, it can sexually reproduce.

Curiosities

This species has a very elegant appearance: it has a narrow orange coloured column that ends in a set of about 1000 white or translucent tentacles, which give it its plume look.
