Beaches are a part of our valuable heritage. Organise a beach cleaning day and ask all classes in your school to join in. Form teams and get working! You can bring guides about the coastal flora and fauna to learn more about the marine world. You’ll surely be surprised by the diversity of species you’ll find! And remember to bring safety equipment: tongs, gloves and collection bags.

Note River beaches are also a good alternative.
